I still reside in the same small town in West Virginia where I was born and raised.
I had an interest in writing early on and my enjoyment only grew as I got older.
I have always favored fiction/horror novels, my favorite author being the master
of horror himself, Stephen King. "DADDY'S GAME" started out as a
short story seeing as I had limited time to dedicate to my writing.
Raising three children and holding down a full-time job left little
time to pursue my dream of writing a book. It took me a year and a
half to complete, but it was worth the wait. I just finished my second
book "SHIMMER" which is now available. I have always enjoyed
reading and writing tales of fiction. My goal is to leave this world and
its mundane problems behind for worlds and characters of intrigue and
excitement. I believe I have accomplished my goal with the creation of
SHIMMER.
SHIMMER
Shimmer is a classic tale of good versus evil. The story takes place
in the early nineteen fifties between two twelve year old friends David
Peterson and Tommy Chandler. Tommy and David’s friendship will
be put to the test as Zeke Morrison suddenly appears to disrupt their
lives. Zeke forces Tommy and David into his world where the boys
learn he is not a human. Zeke transforms into a wolf like creature
known as a meat eater, Tommy and David have been brought into
his world as food for his pack. The boy’s are not the only ones to
be surprised as Zeke watches David transform also. David is a
half-breed; his mother was placed through the Shimmer years ago
to protect her from the war taking place with the meat eaters. The
two friends struggle for survival, to maintain their sanity and
friendship as they search for a way home.
